98-year-old woman recovers from Coronavirus in Lagos

98-year-old woman was reportedly discharged in Lagos today May 13, after recovering from Coronavirus. 

 

A doctor who shared the story on Twitter, said the elderly patient was discharged from Eti-Osa Isolation Center.

The Joy at our Eti-Osa Isolation Center today is indescribable. We just discharged our oldest patient, a 98 year old woman. So glad she’s going home hale and hearty. Can’t post pictures and videos because we were not given consent.

I actually hav some videos n pictures of ppl that gave me consent to post them. I jst want to edit dem, blurr their faces because of d mentality of some Nigerians. I don’t want any stigmatization for them in future. I can’t edit n I don’t know who I can trust wit it #CovidIsReal
