An exclusive interview interview with Titodafire

    Uduak J. Peters  is popularly known as Titodafire , he has worked with several artists including the late OJB JEZREEL He is currently signed to Grindiin Records Soldier. He just released his new single One kiss that is currently making making waves . 

  How and why did you decide  into the industry ?
T- After listening to lotta songs on my mom’s radio, I started singing her favorite songs and wanted to release them, so I met Dr.Shoe Wadada (a radio presenter),he hooked me with Kaneng Rang Pam then later Daniel Wilson, who mentored My Brother Mickey &Myself.

Where your parents in support of your choice of career  ?
 Initially, No. but later my dad Late Mr.Peter Otons did, but i don't think  mom does till now.

When did you realize you had an interest for music?
T- in secondary school, when we did classroom shows and students trooped to watch. That’s when myself and my brother said music was it.

When did you finally decide to go professional ? 
I decided in ‘97, but first professional record “Seun Rere”,  came out in 2002.

Your first time on stage ? Where you nervous?
T- Not at all cos I had been doing school gigs, so I had the vibe already.  I’ll say the First time on the big stage was Kennis Music Easter Fiesta in  2003, Lekki beach, Lagos. The crowd was crazy! Huge. Then Fanta fame music awards 2003 pre-awards party.  Was a big thing for Gent2Men

What challenges have you been facing so far ??
T- one major challenge has been balancing every aspect of my career, from being the artiste, being the label exec, then touring demands, but i bless God that it’s all getting seamless now.

Has your line of career impacted your life so far?
T- oh yes, it’s made me more organized, Better at Time management and team work. Though I sleep less, lol. I meet a lot more pretty girls these days and nice guys too.

Where do you see yourself in the next 3_5  years?

T- I’d be at the place where my works would have inspired a whole new music culture, and movement. I see God’s blessings on my steps.

Your new single one kiss has been doing well so far _ is it dedicated to anyone special ?
T- wow thanks, glad hearing that everyone is embracing and loving my art. Yeah it’s dedicated to everyone who has kept me in there this long, those who curved me *winks
