An exclusive interview with our Man crush Monday- Mr Macaroni

This young man is not just our man crush monday , he is also strong man with a good heart and a leader, he goes by the name Debo Adedayo. He's not a regular , he's popularly known as  Mr Macaroni , hes an actor/ producer , MC, entrepreneur ,he calls himself an advocate of love. Mr Macaroni is one amazing talent  we've ever met . We had a brief interview him about how he started and his journey so far .

How and why did you decide to go into the industry?

I have always wanted to be an entertainer , i started acting as far back as my primary school days . I started by watching Pastor Chris Oyakilomeh's live broadcast then and i remeber how i would always mimick him after watching the program ... so acting for me has always been a passion. As i grew older and atched movies , the passion grew stronger and i knew where i wanted to be.

How was your first experience acting ?

Wheew! my first experience acting in Nollywood you mean? aah! It was scary. Before then, I felt it would be an easy ride lie mimickin Pastor Chris . But it wasnt when i faced the camera, I was shaking , Very nervous . Ruth Kadiri helped calm me down and said a few nice words to me . I remeber a scene i had to drive and i almost slammed the car against the wall.
The first movie i featured in was Mistress by Halima Abubakar and Directed by Ifeanyi Ogbonna . The year was 2011 or there about.

What challenges have you been facing so far?

Oh well , The Entertainment industry is actually tasking. Sometimes you go through a lot to get to the stage you ant to . As an upcoming artist , roles dont just come to you and thats because the audience isnt exactly familiar with the face yet. So you have to put yourself out there and m make the producers believe in your craft.

How has your line of carrier impacted your life so far?

Err, well, if you do something for a particular time , it would most definitely influence you one way or the other . you must decide which you want, positive or negative . I have made more friends, had to change one or two things bout my way of life, dressing , speaking , behaviour and all because I have to sell myself . The way you brand yourself is very important for entertainment.

Where do you see yourself in the next 3-5 years?

Hopefully , somewhere great by God's grace.

Your advice to those who keep trying to get through an audition?

Mehn, you should keep trying , I also got my first role through an audition , and sometimes I am still tempted to go for auditions, because consistency is key.The only fear is that sometimes the producers already have a select cost but need the audition tasks for publicity . However, some artistes still get good roles via auditions . Budding actors can also record skits of themselves and post online . The world is moving and we must move along with it.
